The essentials
  • يرتبط Dell XPS 13 (DX13267) بمقياس أداء مسرب يشير إلى Googlebook.
Googlebook.

A new benchmark suggests Dell is working on a Google-powered laptop under its premium XPS brand. The device, tentatively named the Dell XPS 13 (DX13267), has surfaced in a leaked Geekbench listing. The name alone signals Dell’s intent to make a statement with its Googlebook effort.

According to the findings, the machine may be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon X Elite (X1E-80-100), a chip already associated with Google’s upcoming platform. The device could have up to 32GB of LPDDR5X RAM and a 13.4-inch OLED screen with 2,880 x 1,800 resolution. Connectivity includes Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth, and two USB-C ports.

Why the XPS name matters

The XPS brand is Dell’s go-to for top-tier, visually striking laptops. It’s a branding choice that speaks to design and performance, not just hardware specs. This leak, if accurate, would mark the first time Googlebook devices are marketed under such a high-end nameplate.

The build also references Android 17 desktop builds and a codenamed board called Mica, a component linked earlier to Google’s Aluminium OS. That suggests the device isn’t just a laptop with a new OS—it’s part of a broader shift toward Google’s desktop computing ambitions.

Still, the benchmark scores are high—single-core near 2,200 and multi-core past 9,500—but such figures can be inflated. Pre-release software isn’t always optimized, and benchmarks are easy to manipulate. Still, the pattern of leaks around Googlebook hardware shows this isn’t random. Dell may be finalizing its own version.

Between the lines

Dell’s use of the XPS name for a Googlebook suggests the company sees this as a premium play, possibly aiming to attract professionals who care about aesthetics and performance equally.
