In those earlier years, Apple delayed the iPhone 12 announcement to October and only gave one week’s warning for the iPhone 12 and iPhone 13 releases. The company quickly returned to a more reliable schedule after that, ensuring clarity for consumers and partners.
The latest sign that the event is approaching comes from Apple’s internal training programs. Employees have been notified to prepare for the upcoming event, and the company has confirmed it will take place during the first half of September.
What to expect at the 2026 iPhone event
