The essentials
  • Huawei Cloud unveiled its Agentic Infrastructure at the 2026 Huawei Cloud Summit in Thailand.
  • The CodeArts Agent Open Beta Testing (OBT) was launched for local developers and enterprises.
  • Security features like Data Capsule technology and dedicated security zones were highlighted.

Huawei Cloud hosted the Huawei Cloud Summit Thailand 2026, gathering leaders from government, business, technology, and industry to discuss how cloud computing and artificial intelligence can help expand Thailand’s digital economy. During the conference, Huawei Cloud introduced its Agentic Infrastructure in Thailand and kicked off the CodeArts Agent Open Beta Testing. These steps aim to speed up the shift to AI-driven digital transformation across the region.

Mr. Sunny Shang, President of Huawei Cloud APAC, stressed the need for teamwork between businesses and partners to create an AI-powered digital future. At the same time, the Ministry of Digital Economy and Society pushed for stronger partnerships between the public and private sectors, faster AI adoption in government functions, and clear national AI policies to drive the country’s digital progress.

Mr. Surasak Wanichwatphibun, CTO of Huawei Cloud Thailand, announced four new components of the Agentic Infrastructure at the event. Designed specifically for developing and deploying AI agents, this infrastructure focuses on efficient token generation, secure environments for AI execution, and the ability to manage both general-purpose and AI-specific computing resources smoothly. The four features include the UnifiedBus-based AI Cluster Service, Agentic Memory Storage Service, AgentSphere, and CCE VolcanoNext.

The Agentic Memory Storage Service, for example, offers PB-scale memory, addressing storage limitations and enabling long-term tasks and continuous learning. AgentSphere provides a secure and independent runtime for AI agents. CCE VolcanoNext allows for the unified management of both AI and non-AI computing tasks. Together, these tools aim to streamline AI development and boost operational efficiency.

CodeArts Agent Open Beta Testing for Developers in Thailand

A major highlight was the launch of the CodeArts Agent Open Beta Testing in Thailand, offering local developers and companies a chance to test the platform and give feedback before its wider release. CodeArts Agent combines coding models, autonomous development, and full-featured IDE tools to help make software development faster and more effective.

It also uses Specification-Driven Development (SDD) to maintain high code quality throughout the development lifecycle. By linking requirements to final code delivery, it minimizes errors and boosts productivity.

A notable feature is Agent Team mode, allowing multiple agents to work together on tasks at the same time. This reduces repetitive work and lets developers tackle more complex challenges. By improving efficiency, CodeArts Agent helps organizations bring new digital products to market more quickly.

The Open Beta Testing launch supports Huawei Cloud’s effort to assist Thailand’s developer community and expand access to AI-assisted software development for organizations of all sizes and technical levels.

Mr. Surasak highlighted the importance of security, reliability, and quality in enterprise AI. The model lifecycle security solution covers AI infrastructure, training data, model inference, and agent applications, offering strong protection at every step.

For businesses concerned with data privacy and control, Huawei Cloud has created dedicated security zones where customers manage their own encryption keys. These zones prevent platform staff from accessing customer data, giving users more control and clarity. Huawei Cloud maintains performance through software-hardware integration and hardware acceleration for encryption tasks without slowing service speeds.

Another key innovation is Data Capsule technology, which keeps data secure within approved environments and automatically invalidates it if moved outside a safe area. This ensures sensitive data stays protected and cannot be misused.

Real-World AI Applications Shared Across Sectors

The summit presented real AI and cloud use cases from Thai organizations, including AI-based platforms and smart assistants for public sector services, AI coding and large language models used in banking, and AI-led learning and skill development tools. These examples show how AI can transform industries and sectors in Thailand.
