The essentials
  • Acronis добавляет автоматизацию на базе искусственного интеллекта и единую техническую консоль для MSP
  • Платформа объединяет защиту данных, кибербезопасность и управление услугами в одной системе.
  • Constructor Fabric помогает разработчикам создавать проекты с использованием повторно используемых компонентов и автоматизированной инфраструктуры.
  • MSP теперь могут мигрировать в среды VMware и Azure с помощью инструментов Cyber Frame.

IT managers who must constantly switch between security, backup, and service tools now have a new option. Acronis recently launched a unified system that merges these functions. The platform includes built-in AI automation to cut down on manual work and boost efficiency.

During the Acronis Accelerate event, the company unveiled a suite of tools such as a technician interface, an automated service desk, and a system for gathering and analyzing operational data. Acronis claims this solution eliminates the need to navigate between separate monitoring, security, and infrastructure platforms.

From scattered tools to a single platform

Acronis says many platforms on the market are really just collections of loosely linked tools that don't communicate well. As a result, users must manually move data between systems to enable automation. In contrast, the Acronis solution lets users build workflows using data and actions already in the platform.

Rick Hebly, senior director of platform marketing and education at Acronis, told ChannelE2E: “Most so-called platforms aren't truly platforms in the technical or operational sense. Instead, they are just portfolios of tools acquired from various vendors.” Hebly added that Acronis' approach enables teams to automate using data already in the system.

Hebly explained the limitations of traditional methods, which involve connecting multiple systems to collect data and perform actions. This leads to integration problems, added maintenance, and security risks. “With the Acronis Cyber Platform, MSPs can focus on their workflows on the front end rather than their systems on the back end,” he said. This shift allows teams to respond faster to customer needs without being slowed by backend coordination.

Hebly highlighted the benefit of native integration, explaining that Acronis combines security, data protection, operations, and service management into one platform. This allows for automation that uses real-time data and insights without transferring information between systems.

Developer tools and migration support

To help partners develop custom software, Acronis introduced Constructor Fabric, an open-source tool that allows developers to build and manage software using reusable components and automated infrastructure. The project aims to speed development and maintain strict governance and control.

Constructor Fabric is released under the Apache 2.0 license, making it available to internal and external developers. Acronis uses the project to build parts of its Cyber Platform while allowing partners to use it for their own applications and services. According to Hebly, the tool is especially valuable for managed service providers who are also independent software vendors. “Constructor Fabric enables those technology and service partners to integrate development, infrastructure, and operations on the Acronis Cyber Platform to deliver customer outcomes with governance and agility,” he said.

Acronis is also enhancing Cyber Frame migration tools to support environments using VMware and Microsoft Azure. These tools are built for staged transitions and controlled cutovers, offering more flexibility during migration. Smaller teams or those handling their own infrastructure can use Cyber Frame Local, which allows deployment on their own hardware and in their own facilities.

Cyber Frame Cloud, on the other hand, offers a hosted solution managed by Acronis through its data centers. Partners retain control over billing and service delivery even when using the cloud option. Both models give organizations the ability to decide how much infrastructure they want to manage themselves.

How much infrastructure do you want to own?

Cyber Frame Local lets organizations use their own hardware and keep full control over billing and customer relationships. Acronis charges based on the resources allocated, and partners can decide how to price services based on virtual instances, applications, or users.

For those who want a managed solution, Cyber Frame Cloud offers a backend managed by Acronis. Partners can keep control over service delivery while using a pre-built solution. Whether using their own hardware or Acronis’ data centers, the partnership model remains consistent. Hebly noted this control is key for many partners, especially those with their own customer bases and infrastructure needs.

The value for partners will depend on the availability of APIs, how deeply they can access components, and how Acronis manages permissions across multiple customers. By centralizing access, Acronis aims to reduce the complexity of integrating different tools.

The Acronis Cyber Platform is built to serve IT teams and MSPs with a complete solution. Whether the need is for out-of-the-box automation, custom app development, or flexible infrastructure options, Acronis is positioning itself as a go-to choice for managed service providers.

“Most so-called MSP platforms aren’t actually platforms in the technical or operational meaning of the word, but rather vendors offering a portfolio of disparate and often acquired tools.”
Should you care?

The tools are now available, and Acronis will be adding more APIs to expand platform access.
