The essentials

LTM, an AI-focused global technology services firm and a subsidiary of the Larsen & Toubro group, has formed a strategic partnership with Chainguard to enhance software supply chain security. The collaboration aims to integrate Chainguard’s open-source security tools into LTM’s BlueVerse™ RightLogic framework. Together, the companies seek to strengthen cybersecurity practices while enabling the rapid development of AI-powered software.

BlueVerse RightLogic uses artificial intelligence to evaluate cyber risks across multiple technological domains. By incorporating Chainguard’s open-source security tools, developers can secure their software components at the beginning of the development process. This approach eliminates delays caused by traditional, slower security methods and supports the fast-paced workflows enabled by AI.

Enterprises now gain improved visibility into the risks associated with their software’s open-source components. This enhanced transparency allows them to build solid foundations for AI and digital transformation projects. The partnership directly addresses growing threats in software supply chains, where vulnerabilities are often discovered and exploited at machine speed, leaving companies little time to respond.

Krishnan Iyer, Chief Growth Officer of LTM, explained that the partnership helps clients secure their open-source software and significantly reduce risks in the software supply chain. He emphasized that it supports organizations in creating resilient bases for their AI-driven innovation initiatives.

Dan Lorenc, CEO and co-founder of Chainguard, highlighted that the partnership enables companies to operate at AI speeds while having complete confidence in the integrity of their software supply chains. He stressed that trust in the fundamental building blocks of software is essential to avoiding delays and inefficiencies during the delivery process.

LTM reports that the partnership expands the BlueVerse RightLogic ecosystem. By combining leading cybersecurity technology partners with LTM’s consulting, implementation, and managed security services, the platform offers a comprehensive solution for managing cyber risks in AI systems, applications, and software supply chains.

LTM, part of the Larsen & Toubro group, is a major global company that supports enterprises through AI-powered operations, business transformation, and consulting. The firm operates in 40 countries and has over 87,000 employees. Its extensive services are designed to help organizations innovate and expand in a rapidly evolving technology landscape.

LTM describes itself as the Business Creativity partner to the world's largest enterprises. The company aims to surpass market expectations by combining human expertise with cutting-edge technology. The partnership with Chainguard represents a significant step toward this goal, enabling LTM to help clients stay competitive through continuous innovation and secure digital transformation.

They will improve visibility into open-source software risk, enhance cyber resilience by addressing supply chain exposure, and build secure foundations for AI and digital transformation initiatives.

“The only real fix is making sure the components going into that software are trustworthy from the start.”
