Jackal, launched in May, took on the role of the pursuer in the exercise, while Puma executed evasive strategies. Both satellites are compact, with dimensions comparable to a dishwasher or a refrigerator, highlighting their practicality for rapid deployment. The test environment simulated real-world tactics for future satellite interactions.

Companies like True Anomaly and Rocket Lab are developing tools to shape an emerging battlefield in space.
