The adjustments apply only to new subscriptions, preserving existing rates for those already enrolled. Meanwhile, Apple has also broadened the availability of AppleCare+ subscription options in Canada and Japan.
Apple expanded AppleCare+ with Theft and Loss coverage to Japan, Australia, France, Germany, and the United Kingdom for the iPad and Apple Watch. Previously, such coverage was limited to the iPhone in those markets. The inclusion of these devices marks a strategic push to offer comprehensive coverage to a wider user base.
AppleCare One gains international ground
Starting on August 4, AppleCare One is becoming available in Australia, France, Germany, and the United Kingdom. Apple introduced AppleCare One in the U.S. in July 2025, offering coverage for up to three devices under one subscription for $19.99 per month. Customers in the U.K. can save up to £11.48 per month compared to buying three individual AppleCare+ with Theft and Loss plans.
Cost comparisons remain a key selling point
Apple’s pricing strategy continues to emphasize the cost-effectiveness of its multi-device AppleCare One. With the base plan at $19.99 per month in the U.S., it now becomes even more appealing as a bundled option, especially with the price hikes on individual AppleCare+ plans.
