Ten regular-season tournaments across six states make up the backbone of the Elon men's golf team's 2026-27 schedule. The Phoenix will kick off their fall season at the Myrtle Beach Golf Trips Intercollegiate, scheduled for Sept.
Just a week later, the team will travel to Waynesville, North Carolina, for the JT Poston Invitational hosted by Western Carolina at the Waynesville Inn & Golf Club. In October, they'll head to Florida for the West Bay Collegiate on Oct. 5-6 before returning to North Carolina to play in their home event, the Elon Phoenix Invitational from Oct.
The Phoenix will compete in ten events total during the year. In the spring, they'll host two tournaments in March. The first event is the Tiger Invitational at the Auburn University Club in Auburn, Alabama. The second event is the Linger Longer Invitational at Great Waters at Reynolds Lake Oconee in Eatonton, Georgia. The event will take place from March 19 to 21.
April is packed with competition, including the Giles-Spratley Collegiate in Virginia at Independence Golf Club and the Tar Heel Intercollegiate in Chapel Hill at Finley Golf Club.
Path to the NCAA Championship
Elon finished as runner-up at the 2026 conference championship. They posted a total of 21-under par. After the regular season concludes, the Phoenix will compete in the NCAA Regional in May. They will advance to the national championship in Carlsbad, California. The championship will be held from May 28 to June 2 at Omni La Costa. All competition dates and start times remain tentative and are subject to change.
