Clemson remains a key player in Hawkins' college decision

Calhoun, Georgia native Trace Hawkins has cut his list to six schools, and Clemson remains one of them. Alongside LSU, Kentucky, Virginia Tech, Duke, and Vanderbilt, the Tigers have maintained a strong presence in the 2028 quarterback recruit’s process. Hawkins has made several trips to Clemson since last season, including visits for fall games, the spring game, and a June appearance at Dabo Swinney’s high school camp.

Clemson extended a scholarship offer to Hawkins in June after he impressed coaches during the camp. LSU has also built a close relationship with the quarterback, making both programs stand out among the contenders.
