His leadership, football IQ, and communication skills earned him this role at Georgia, where he directed a top-tier defense. Colts' general manager Chris Ballard even called him a 'green dot guy from the get-go.'
A Minor Setback, Not a Crisis
While the injury is a setback, the Colts believe Allen will return in time for meaningful training camp reps. Being on the Active/PUP list means he can return to practice as soon as he's cleared medically. If he does return, the team still sees him as a key piece of defensive coordinator Lou Anarumo's scheme.
