The Martinique Jokers edged out the Canadian Pirates 21-19, with Fabien Da Silva earning MVP honors for his scoring and team leadership. Da Silva’s performance gave the Jokers the decisive push they needed to clinch the 2026 championship.
The women’s competition saw Blue Ice take the title after a best-of-three showdown with Blue Flames. Blue Ice won the first game 15-5, but Blue Flames came back with a 22-12 second-game victory. The deciding match saw Blue Ice secure a 15-7 win.
The teams represented a mix of talent from Saint Lucia, Grenada, Guyana, and St Vincent & the Grenadines. This regional blending is a key strength in women’s rugby across the Caribbean. Jelena Shepherd, a standout Guyanese youth player, was named MVP, having scored the most tries of the tournament.
In the men’s Plate Final, two Saint Lucian teams went head to head, with Rogues beating Saint Lucia Select 5-0. Meanwhile, Guyana Police Falcons secured third place in the main draw, defeating Martinique’s MADA 29-0. A record 45 Saint Lucian youth players competed in a regional rugby tournament, the highest number from the island in a single event.
