The National Interscholastic Swim Coaches Association (NISCA) just published its 2025-26 high school All-America Lists, and the top times are anything but sleepy. The big story? That’s a new mark of 1:26.67 from Krish Jain, Lucas Young, George Dovellos, and Liam Carrington.
Relays dominate and recruits shine
Dovellos and Carrington didn’t stop there. The pair also anchored The Bolles School’s 400 free relay, which clocked in with a top time of 2:55.23. Both are headed to college next fall—Dovellos to Harvard, Carrington to NC State. Meanwhile, West Park High’s Jordan Ragland made a strong double impact in the 50 and 100 free, earning top spots in both.
Girls' 100 free and 500 free standouts
Rylee Erisman of Windermere High made headlines of her own in the girls' 100 free, clocking in with a record 46.73—beating Gretchen Walsh’s 46.98 from 2020. Erisman reclassified to the class of 2026 and will begin her college career at UC Berkeley. Gabi Brito from Santa Monica High also impressed, nearly matching the 50 free record with a 21.66, just 0.07 seconds shy of Gretchen Walsh’s 21.59.
Derivaux nears 500 free record
Audrey Derivaux of Haddonfield Memorial High came closest to the girls' 500 free record with 4:41.66, just 0.12 seconds behind West Bloomfield senior Elizabeth Eichbrecht, who will join Indiana University-Bloomington next fall. Eichbrecht’s 4:41.54 sits at the top of that list.
