Iyengar’s background and achievements
Born in Scottsdale, Arizona, Iyengar climbed to a career-high WTA singles ranking of 727 in July and achieved a personal best of 69 in ITF singles in March.
Coach Szabo praised Iyengar for her talent and character, saying she has the qualities to lead Auburn toward championships. He noted her ambition to become a professional and her confidence in the program to help her grow as a player and individual.
