The Apple Invites app has just rolled out a version with two fresh additions, both aimed at making event coordination feel more personal. Starting today, users can now react to RSVPs with emoji, and when a guest accepts or declines an invitation, a burst of animated confetti appears.
These changes are part of the app’s Version 1.10 update, which also includes under-the-hood improvements like bug fixes and performance tweaks, as outlined in Apple’s changelog. The update is live now, available for download from the App Store.
Launched for iPhone in February 2025, the app was originally designed as a streamlined way to handle event invites, from birthdays to baby showers. While creating an event requires an iCloud+ plan with at least 50GB of storage, anyone who gets a link to the event can RSVP at no cost and from any device.
Among the updates included in past versions, Apple added a co-hosting feature that lets multiple people manage the same event, as well as more customization for event backgrounds. Hosts can also now choose whether to share guest names with other attendees.
The latest additions may seem small, but they add a layer of interactivity that could make events feel more engaging. Whether the confetti feels celebratory or just a bit playful, users are now one step closer to turning digital invites into digital parties.
