Ample Entertainment has officially launched its YouTube channel, Ample Originals, on August 6, 2026, as a new hub for original documentaries, series, creator collaborations, and related content. The channel features a preview of its upcoming lineup, including the premiere of Ample Investigates on August 7 and Somebody Knows Something on August 10. These two projects anchor Ample’s non-fiction strategy, offering fans immersive storytelling in the true crime and investigative documentary genres.
Collaborative Host and Production Approach
The YouTube series Somebody Knows Something is hosted by Kara Robinson Chamberlain, a well-known true crime content creator and kidnapping survivor. She also serves as host for the ABC News Studios television adaptation of the same name. The YouTube version provides digital recaps of the TV episodes, covering the cases, investigations, and guest discussions featured in each segment. The digital companion series will launch on August 10, the same day as the television premiere. The TV show will air on Freeform and will be available to stream the following day on Hulu and Hulu on Disney+ for bundle subscribers in the U.S.
CEO Ari Mark described Ample Originals as a platform designed to deliver carefully curated, high-quality content straight to the audience. He stressed the channel’s potential to broaden the reach of the company’s storytelling efforts and to serve as a creative incubator for original ideas at different stages of development. The new initiative aims to support collaboration with creators, foster community engagement around Ample’s projects, and enhance the company’s existing premium content offerings for partners in both broadcast and streaming spaces. Mark expressed confidence in the audience’s desire for well-crafted, top-quality content and stated that Ample is ready to meet that demand.
